Frida, A Pesar de Todo is my colorful interpretation of Frida Kahlo’s Self-Portrait Dedicated to Dr. Eloesser, a deeply personal work created during a period marked by pain and illness. In my reimagining, I wanted to honor that vulnerability while surrounding her with color, growth, and life. A portrait of what it means to carry what hurts while continuing to show up, create, and bloom anyway.
