It is for our immigrant communities, our families, our neighbors, and everyone who has been made to feel unwelcome in a place they call home.
I've been told that my FUCK ICE is “too pretty.” But I don't believe protest has to look a certain way to be powerful. Resistance can be beautiful. Anger can be colorful. Protest can look like us. This piece is my way of using the visual language that is authentically mine to say something loudly and without apology: we see you, we stand with you, and we will not be silent.

Frida en Riso is a colorful tribute to Frida Kahlo created using Risograph printing, a process that layers individual ink colors one at a time to build the final image.
Part of the magic of Riso is that those layers don't always line up perfectly. Slight shifts in registration, ink coverage, and texture are part of the process, meaning no two prints are exactly alike (check out image 7 for better understanding). These little variations aren't flaws, they're what give each print its own character and make the one you take home uniquely yours.

Burrito en su Jardín gets the Riso treatment 🌸🐈⬛
Originally inspired by my own little Burrito lounging amongst the flowers, this edition takes the colorful illustration into the wonderfully imperfect world of Risograph printing.
While experimenting with ink, layering, and color during the printing process, something unexpected happened: three distinct colorways emerged: Blue-Green mix, Deep Cobalt Blue, and Dark Teal. Rather than choosing just one, I decided to keep them all. That experimentation is part of what makes Riso so special. Each print carries subtle variations in ink coverage, texture, registration, and color, so no two are exactly alike. Choose the colorway that speaks to you and take home your own slightly imperfect, completely unique little Tuxedo cat. 💛
