It is for our immigrant communities, our families, our neighbors, and everyone who has been made to feel unwelcome in a place they call home.
I've been told that my FUCK ICE is “too pretty.” But I don't believe protest has to look a certain way to be powerful. Resistance can be beautiful. Anger can be colorful. Protest can look like us. This piece is my way of using the visual language that is authentically mine to say something loudly and without apology: we see you, we stand with you, and we will not be silent.
