A celebration of bold blooming—where the mystical meets the maximalist, and the forest becomes a place of personal power. Inspired by the “Whimsical Woodland” theme, I reimagined the woods not as a quiet escape, but as a vibrant dreamscape pulsing with color, intention, and inner magic.
To complete the world, I created wall art that pairs typographic empowerment with visual playfulness, turning the space into more than a room, a sanctuary. A portal. A place where color heals and whimsy reigns. Incorporating my Frida portrait, a piece I created previously, grounds the space in legacy, reminding us that blooming boldly is an act of resistance.
I began with the creation of the hero piece, Mycelium & Monarchs—a textile pattern that captures the transformational energy of mushrooms and butterflies, two powerful forest symbols of evolution and interconnectedness. from there, I let my intuition lead, layering in textures, prints, and energy until my dreamscape came to life.
